About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform inside sales tasks including cold calling and pursuing leads for new customers
- Build and manage a book of business by transitioning from sales to account management
- Overcome objections and provide comprehensive transportation solutions to prospective customers
- Maintain and grow customer relationships to meet evolving transportation needs
Requirements
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to learn new software and computer systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience in the logistics industry
- Familiarity with CRM and BI systems
