About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform inside sales duties including cold calling and pursuing leads for new customers
- Build and manage a book of business by transitioning from sales to account management
- Provide top-notch service to prospective and existing customers for all transportation needs
- Overcome objections and negotiate effectively to secure new business
Requirements
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new software and computer systems
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in customer-facing or logistics roles preferred
