About the role

About the Company

Thread AI is focused on building an AI-native workflow orchestration engine. Our goal is to make infrastructure simple for enterprises and public sector agencies seeking to get the most from AI and AI Agents.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting via email, phone, automated tools, and LinkedIn
  • Research and identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts
  • Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities
  • Articulate Thread AI's value proposition and Lemma's capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on messaging and lead quality
  • Stay informed on AI industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Contribute to the development of sales playbooks and scripts

Requirements

  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research skills for complex enterprise environments
  • Self-starter mentality suitable for early-stage environments
  • Curiosity about artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to government, public sector, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, workflow automation, or developer tools
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup
  • Background in technical or consultative sales environments
