Rec (recreation.ai) is using AI to reimagine how the world plays, participates in community, and gets active. We sit at the intersection of a consumer product loved by everyday players and an enterprise platform trusted by the organizations that power recreation.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting into city governments and Parks & Rec departments across the U.S.
  • Initiate conversations through tailored messaging via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Book qualified meetings and set up demos to fuel the sales funnel.
  • Join and eventually lead demo calls with decision-makers.
  • Test and evolve the GTM playbook from scratch.
  • Represent the Rec brand to city leaders.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in outbound sales or BDR roles at a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven track record of beating quota and creating pipeline
  • Strong communication and objection-handling skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving, unstructured startup environments
  • Passion for community, sports, and the company mission

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in GovTech or selling into the public sector
  • Previous startup experience
