About the role

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate top-of-funnel opportunities through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting methods
  • Research and identify target banks and credit unions that align with ModernFi’s solutions
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure high-quality opportunities for Account Executives
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to support the sales cycle and drive revenue growth
  • Maintain clean and accurate records in CRM systems, tracking pipeline activity and outreach metrics
  • Experiment with messaging and outreach strategies to maximize engagement
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity metrics

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or sales development
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services preferred
  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging senior executives in financial institutions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple outreach sequences
  • High resilience and persistence in building relationships and overcoming objections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
