About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute multi-channel outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, texting) against Director, VP, and C-level decision makers.
- Generate qualified sales opportunities and meetings to build a robust pipeline for Account Executives.
- Partner closely with AEs on account strategy, multi-threading, and seamless meeting handoffs.
- Contribute to the development of the outbound sales playbook by identifying successful messaging and common objections.
- Develop deep domain expertise within assigned verticals to act as a consultative partner to merchants.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional experience in the retail/ecommerce space OR 6–12 months of SDR/BDR experience in fintech or merchant-tech.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding outbound activity and pipeline targets.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be located in the Bay Area and able to work in the office 3 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to Heads of Ecommerce, CX, Operations, or DTC founders.
- Experience working with account lists involving Shopify Plus, BigCommerce Enterprise, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Experience booking meetings against a sharply defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
