About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, hunt, and develop new end-user accounts across the Richmond metro and surrounding Central Virginia region
  • Drive to customer sites, perform walk-throughs, and uncover needs across doors, docks, and facility access equipment
  • Manage the full sales cycle including outreach, discovery, site surveys, quoting, and closing
  • Grow territory revenue by expanding share of wallet and winning new logos
  • Build and maintain a planned maintenance (PM) and service agreement base
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in CRM

Requirements

  • Experience in outside sales, territory sales, or B2B field sales
  • Background in construction, building products, industrial supply, MRO, or related trades
  • Proven ability to hunt new business and build relationships from scratch
  • Comfortable with face-to-face selling and consultative conversations with facility managers
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to signed PO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the door industry, dock equipment, or overhead door trades
  • Previous experience as a technician, installer, or service manager in a related trade
