About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting oil & gas refiners and petrochemical facilities
  • Position and communicate FLINT’s Asset Armor products and services in the market
  • Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate opportunities and revenue
  • Identify and pursue new business for weld overlay, abrasion-resistant solutions, and pressure vessel fabrication
  • Maintain relationships with refinery maintenance teams, turnaround planners, and EPC contractors
  • Provide technical consultation on material selection and cladding solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award
  • Meet or exceed revenue and margin targets

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of technical sales experience in weld overlay, cladding, or pressure vessel fabrication
  • Proven track record selling to oil & gas refining and petrochemical clients
  • Established client base in Eastern Canada, Midwest, or Northeast regions
  • Strong understanding of corrosion/erosion mechanisms and CRA materials (e.g., Inconel)
  • Knowledge of ASME fabrication and repair standards
  • Ability to travel to client sites across Eastern Canada
