About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting oil & gas refiners and petrochemical facilities
- Position and communicate FLINT’s Asset Armor products and services in the market
- Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate opportunities and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business for weld overlay, abrasion-resistant solutions, and pressure vessel fabrication
- Maintain relationships with refinery maintenance teams, turnaround planners, and EPC contractors
- Provide technical consultation on material selection and cladding solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award
- Meet or exceed revenue and margin targets
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of technical sales experience in weld overlay, cladding, or pressure vessel fabrication
- Proven track record selling to oil & gas refining and petrochemical clients
- Established client base in Eastern Canada, Midwest, or Northeast regions
- Strong understanding of corrosion/erosion mechanisms and CRA materials (e.g., Inconel)
- Knowledge of ASME fabrication and repair standards
- Ability to travel to client sites across Eastern Canada
