Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Strategically prospect into key accounts via email, calling, and LinkedIn
• Meet new business opportunity and pipeline generation targets
• Craft personalized outreach to prioritize the right accounts and prospects
• Qualify and engage inbound leads for smooth handoff to Account Executives
• Educate prospects on Fireworks AI's inference solutions as a brand ambassador
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging based on market feedback
• Stay current on AI/ML trends to conduct informed conversations with technical and business audiences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated interest in technology sales and AI/ML
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and organized with ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience
• Prior customer-facing role in SaaS, AI, or emerging tech
• Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo)
• Degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
• Active interest in AI/tech communities and continuous learning
