Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for prospects in a brand-new market launch
• Utilize email, phone, and other creative channels to reach prospective clients through outbound tactics
• Build and iterate on the outbound playbook from scratch, including sequences, scripts, and objection handling
• Track sales activity using Salesforce and other software tools to define performance metrics
• Overcome objections, pitch the value proposition, and move prospects through the sales funnel
• Partner with Account Executives on client handoffs and provide feedback to product and marketing teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of XDR/BDR/SDR experience in a high-growth startup environment (SaaS preferred)
• Proven experience launching outbound into a new vertical, market, or product
• Strong cold-calling skills and ability to operate without an existing playbook
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and ramp up quickly with limited resources
• Experience with standard sales tools and a desire to implement new processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building a founding sales motion at an early-stage business unit
• Experience with marketplace models or the healthcare/dental industry
• A track record of success in blitz growth environments
