About the role
Responsibilities
- Qualify marketing-generated leads from various channels including campaigns, website programs, and conferences
- Conduct outbound prospecting to discover and qualify meetings with prospective clients in the DACH region
- Align prospect needs with BlackLine's cloud software solutions
- Handle software capability questions during the sales qualification process
- Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics for appointments and qualified leads
- Manage prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting using Salesforce.com and Outreach
Requirements
- Full professional fluency (written and spoken) in both German and English
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership of daily progress
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage a sales pipeline effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sales or cold-calling experience
- Foundational accounting knowledge (e.g., CPA eligibility or Audit experience)
