About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to grow sales and profits with new and existing customers
  • Identify target accounts through heavy prospecting and partnership with Sales Representatives
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face calls and phone outreach
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Generate leads and coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, sales contracts, and pricing schedules
  • Visit clients to evaluate needs and promote products and services
  • Maintain accurate client records and answer questions regarding terms, products, and availability

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outside sales or selling paint-related products
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Associate's degree in business, sales, or marketing
  • Experience as a Sherwin-Williams Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager
  • Bilingual skills, specifically in Spanish
