Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage target accounts through outbound activities including email, phone, and LinkedIn
• Research accounts and stakeholders to tailor outreach messaging and generate qualified meetings
• Respond to inbound marketing leads and conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges
• Support transactional sales motions by guiding prospects through the self-service web portal and purchase workflows
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists to advance opportunities through the sales funnel
• Maintain product awareness regarding manufacturing, logistics, and smart building trends

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, inside sales, or lead development role
• Experience in B2B SaaS environments preferred
• Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders via phone, video, and written channels
• Proven experience with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
• Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Organized and metrics-driven approach to managing multiple leads

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AEC, Manufacturing, Construction technology, or facilities management markets
• Exposure to enterprise or mid-market sales environments
• Experience qualifying leads using frameworks such as BANT or MEDDICC
