Business Development Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed labour market analysis to inform program and partnership development
• Develop and execute business development plans to expand internship and co-op opportunities
• Identify target markets and make first contact with potential employers
• Create communications plans and content for marketing and promotional materials
• Gather employer feedback on student performance and write detailed site visit reports
• Maintain and grow existing employer relationships to improve the quality of work term opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience
• Proven track record of meeting targets and generating new business
• Experience conducting market research and identifying target markets
• Proficiency with CRM systems or relational databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle for travel within the GTA

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the career services industry
• Experience within an engineering environment or co-operative education programs
• Experience in engineering recruitment
