Business Development Officer - Capital Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of secured credit facilities for middle-market and large corporate clients
• Source new clients and grow existing relationships within the middle-market and corporate banking sectors
• Act as a subject matter expert to lead complex, high-impact initiatives and provide industry expertise to peers and leaders
• Analyze client businesses, strategic objectives, and financial positions to propose tailored financial solutions
• Partner with coverage teams and product management to drive large-scale companywide strategies
• Represent the company externally to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
• Mentor less experienced team members and lead deal teams through analysis, approval, and execution phases

Requirements

• 10+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to source new financing opportunities and build relationships with private equity firms and investment banks
• Deep understanding of secured credit facilities, risk evaluation, and deal structuring
• Experience with Asset-Based Lending (ABL) solutions, including financing for growth, recapitalizations, and refinancing
• Proven ability to create compelling pitch decks and credit proposals
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
