Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement seller acquisition strategies to scale business in high-potential emerging markets.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and tailor strategies to regional dynamics.
• Analyze seller behavior and trends to create localized experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
• Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and ecosystem players.
• Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions to drive growth and operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report business performance to senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or equivalent preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or category management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other database tools.
• Proven ability to drive results and execute high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce or cross-border trade.
• Prior experience working in emerging markets, specifically CEE, LATAM, or other high-growth regions.
• Background in marketplace dynamics, online retail, or consumer product industries.
