About the role
Responsibilities
- Attract and generate new lubricant business by identifying and pursuing opportunities that fit the company offering
- Manage a strategic customer portfolio to optimize profitability, cash flow, and receivables
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to drive account growth and new business acquisition
- Act as a technical advisor, recommending optimal lubricants and equipment to meet customer criteria
- Analyze sales results against budgets and provide detailed forecasts and progress reports to management
- Maintain professional relationships with clients through regular site visits and prompt inquiry response
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions of new accounts and ensure exceptional service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in sales or a related field preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities with urgency
