About the Company
TransferMate is a global payments provider with a network covering over 200 countries and territories. Established in 2010 and achieving Unicorn status in 2022, the company partners with major banks, fintechs, and software providers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Own new business acquisition across Bahrain and the GCC region, targeting corporates, fintechs, and strategic partners
- Build and execute a local go-to-market strategy aligned with APAC leadership
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal close
- Develop strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, ERP platforms, and payroll providers
- Create and maintain a high-quality pipeline to deliver against ambitious revenue targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, and marketing teams
- Provide market intelligence to shape GCC expansion strategy
- Act as the Principal Representative and "approved person" by the CBB
- Serve as the official individual responsible for the representative office in Bahrain
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in business development or sales within fintech, payments, FX, or SaaS
- Proven track record of closing new business and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience building or scaling a new market, region, or territory
- Strong partnership development and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to operate independently in a high-growth environment
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
