About the role
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with business and industry representatives to drive revenue through customized training projects.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify grants, funding opportunities, and new sales prospects in the Northern Colorado region.
- Lead the end-to-end development of contract training proposals, including technical writing, pricing, negotiation, and contract closing.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to source and vet incubator/innovation companies for the Aims Workforce Innovation Center (AWIC).
- Build and maintain partnerships with economic development entities, chambers of commerce, and regional workforce agencies.
- Analyze labor market information and talent demand to translate data into actionable workforce development strategies.
- Manage client relationships, grant applications, and budget development for customized training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant experience in sales, negotiation, or management within adult education, corporate solutions, or customer success.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to represent the College in public.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass an MVR to facilitate business travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate solutions or customized training.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Management systems.
- Sales and negotiation training or professional certification.
- Experience utilizing AI and Agentic AI tools to enhance business workflows or data analysis.
