Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new market opportunities and whitespace development within the Western United States to drive regional growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with established and prospective customers, developers, and strategic partners.
• Conduct market outlook and growth-focused meetings to provide insight into industry trends and regulatory developments.
• Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and market shifts to inform regional strategy and priority setting.
• Coordinate closely with Business Area Sales to ensure early market engagement transitions smoothly into formal pursuits.
• Strengthen regional presence through proactive market coverage at industry events, trade shows, and regional forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or market-facing roles.
• Proven experience in the energy, power, or infrastructure industry.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborate across different business units.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
