About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies and implement new services in existing or new markets
- Conduct market analysis to determine customer needs, pricing, and trends
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, and operations to implement business models
- Support management in negotiations, bids, contract development, and budgeting
- Monitor competition activities and anticipate new market trends
- Participate in major tenders and exhibition events to promote services
- Update sales activities in the SMP sales pipeline module and prepare monthly reports
- Ensure compliance with SGS Code of Integrity and Quality Management Systems
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering with minimum 7 years relevant experience, or a Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Familiarity with Environmental Quality Order 2025 and IMO MARPOL requirements
- Proven track record in Business Development or Marketing of technical services
- Fluency in local language and high level of written and verbal English
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills
- Ability to travel frequently
