Business Development Manager

About the Company

Scimplify is an end-to-end B2B fulfillment platform operating across the product life cycle from contract research and lab scale development to commercial manufacturing of specialty chemicals. The team consists of experienced professionals from industries like Pharmaceutical APIs, Industrial Chemicals, and Food Ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities in the Polymer Industry for India and export markets
• Craft sales strategies for specialty chemicals including Antioxidants, UV stabilizers, and Pigments
• Manage PnL targets, lead generation, and cash flows
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
• Establish connections with end customers in the Polymer Industry ecosystem (masterbatches, PVC, Packaging, etc.)
• Negotiate and close deals to drive revenue growth
• Monitor industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory shifts
• Manage domestic license registration procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the polymer or specialty chemical industry
• Proven experience with products such as Antioxidants, UV Stabilisers, Plasticizers, or Titanium Dioxide
• Experience in export markets is a plus
• Strong ability to build and sustain business relationships
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• Experience selling commodity polymers with an existing customer network
