Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the business development process from opportunity identification to validation and closing
• Manage the prospect pipeline, track opportunities, and validate leads
• Map stakeholders at prospect organizations and alliance partners
• Build constructive relationships with prospective buyers and key contacts
• Shape offers and provide pre-sales information in collaboration with experts
• Educate prospects on OMP’s value proposition and Unison Planning™ solutions
• Represent OMP at commercial and networking events
• Manage the CRM system to ensure consistent account follow-up

Requirements

• University degree in business administration, supply chain management, or marketing
• 5-10 years of commercial experience in business software solutions or supply chain consultancy
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to handle complex customer needs and various technology use cases
• Strong social media skills, with a specific focus on LinkedIn
• Willingness to travel as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of French and/or German
• Deep understanding of supply chain management and planning challenges
• Experience in core industries such as chemicals, life sciences, metals, consumer goods, paper, plastic film, or packaging
