Business Development Manager (m/w/d) European Defence

Responsibilities

• Coordinate future development, procurement, and investment projects based on the Diehl Defence strategy
• Evaluate market opportunities and risks, qualify EU and NATO opportunities, and contribute to European growth
• Conduct country, competitor, and market analyses
• Maintain and develop strategic and operational networks within NATO and the EU
• Lead the formation of cooperation with European industry and research institutions in Brussels to develop long-term international partnerships

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Law, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in Business Development
• Excellent and fluent English skills (written and spoken)
• Strong existing network within the EU, NATO, Bundeswehr, or Ukraine
• High willingness to travel to Brussels and other European locations
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear decision-making preparations
• Strong negotiation skills
