Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new business opportunities within the Romanian SME and mid-market segments
  • Build and maintain a robust outbound pipeline through strategic prospecting and networking
  • Pitch Mollie’s localised value proposition, focusing on easy integration and superior checkout experiences
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to go-live
  • Provide local market insights to Product and Marketing teams
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records in Hubspot for accurate forecasting

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of B2B Sales experience, ideally in E-commerce, Tech, or Retail
  • Professional fluency in Romanian and English
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets in B2B SaaS or fintech sales
  • Deep knowledge of the Romanian e-commerce ecosystem and local payment preferences
  • Self-starter "hunter" mentality with territory-building experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong technical aptitude to explain payment integrations and API benefits
