Responsibilities

  • Outbound prospecting to prospective merchants in Italy via email sequences, cold calling, and in-person events
  • Follow up with inbound marketing and partnership leads using sales tools
  • Own the full deal pipeline from first contact through to live customer status
  • Coordinate onboarding and integration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful go-live
  • Collaborate with onboarding and risk teams to optimize conversion and manage risk
  • Leverage the Mollie value proposition to meet merchants face-to-face

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience in full cycle sales (Account Executive type role)
  • Proven experience in outbound sales and hunting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to discuss technical solutions confidently
  • Organized, structured, and analytical with a target-focused approach
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Prestashop, Magento, or Shopify
