Responsibilities
- Outbound prospecting to prospective merchants in Italy via email sequences, cold calling, and in-person events
- Follow up with inbound marketing and partnership leads using sales tools
- Own the full deal pipeline from first contact through to live customer status
- Coordinate onboarding and integration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful go-live
- Collaborate with onboarding and risk teams to optimize conversion and manage risk
- Leverage the Mollie value proposition to meet merchants face-to-face
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in full cycle sales (Account Executive type role)
- Proven experience in outbound sales and hunting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Italian
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to discuss technical solutions confidently
- Organized, structured, and analytical with a target-focused approach
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Prestashop, Magento, or Shopify
