Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure capacity deals across cloud, lease, and self-build pipelines, assessing developer credibility and cost structures.
• Structure large-scale capital partnership vehicles including SPVs, JVs, tax equity, and project finance.
• Provide strategic analysis on energy and data center market dynamics, including power generation, grid/transmission, and utility economics.
• Synthesize intelligence across multiple deal workstreams to produce unified capital allocation views for leadership.
• Serve as the domain expert on infrastructure and financing to ensure informed perspectives in cross-functional forums.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Finance, and Legal teams to align partnership strategy with infrastructure execution.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years in infrastructure finance, energy project development, or capital markets.
• Direct experience in large-scale ($1B+) project finance, JV structuring, or infrastructure M&A.
• Deep knowledge of energy and power markets, including generation technologies and PPA structures.
• Experience evaluating or negotiating data center, hyperscaler, or large-load infrastructure deals.
• Proven track record in structured finance such as tax equity, project debt, or SPV formation.
• Ability to synthesize complex deal structures into strategic recommendations across engineering, legal, and finance disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent; engineering or technical undergraduate background preferred.
• Experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
