About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow ShipServ’s footprint in the US and LATAM maritime market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with maritime suppliers and key categories in the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by providing value-added solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and regional trends
  • Deliver professional customer presentations, product demos, and commercial proposals
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to management
  • Represent ShipServ at key industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Product, Finance, and Sales leadership teams to tailor regional offerings

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Direct experience within the maritime, shipping, or maritime procurement sectors
  • Strong understanding of US and LATAM maritime industry dynamics and procurement practices
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding market share
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America and LATAM to meet customers and attend events
