About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead South Region business development efforts by partnering with onsite teams, merchant sales, and industry SMEs.
  • Focus on small onsite and merchant opportunities while supporting large-project pursuits.
  • Manage and update the regional business development opportunity tracking process.
  • Collaborate with industry experts in steel, chemical, renewables, and electronics to strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Build and execute the small onsite and merchant BD strategy to meet annual growth targets.
  • Support sales in building senior-level customer relationships and broadening engagement.
  • Participate in negotiating long-term, complex, project-based supply agreements.
  • Validate opportunities across business units and support proposal and contract preparation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in a relevant industry.
  • Proven experience in business development or project development roles.
  • Experience in contracting for small or large onsite supply or pipeline supply agreements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 25% or more as required by the role.
