Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and sales growth for Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Norway
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with customer needs and Huawei’s growth strategy
• Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, partners, consultants, and industry stakeholders
• Identify, qualify, and win major utility-scale BESS projects from early-stage pipeline to contract closure
• Lead tender processes including RFI/RFP review, bid strategy, and commercial negotiation
• Monitor market trends, regulations, and competitor activities within the Norwegian BESS and renewable energy sectors
• Represent Huawei at industry events, conferences, and customer forums

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the utility-scale BESS market and project development cycles
• Good knowledge of the Norwegian renewable energy market and regulations
• Experience in complex solution sales and strategic account development
• Understanding of energy storage system architecture, PCS, EMS, and battery technologies
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in energy, renewables, storage, or infrastructure sectors
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or Business
• Fluent Norwegian and excellent English
• Willingness to travel frequently within Norway and occasionally in Europe
