Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue growth and market share in Automotive and Consumer Electronics segments
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, including OEMs and battery manufacturers
• Negotiate supply agreements and facilitate the execution of contracts, including supply, allocation, and pricing
• Lead Contract Life Cycle Management from negotiation to expiration
• Monitor performance and partner with internal Quality, Product, and Operations teams to ensure compliance
• Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and senior management

Requirements

• Fluent written and verbal proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
• BS or MS degree in Business, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in business development or account management in the battery materials, battery, or automotive industry
• Proven track record of closing direct sales and forming strategic alliances
• Ability to negotiate complex contractual agreements and financial models
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including to Asia and Europe
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD and/or MBA
• Automotive Industry experience (OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2)
• International experience supporting customers in China
• CRM experience
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP tools
