About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue growth and market share in Automotive and Consumer Electronics segments
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, including OEMs and battery manufacturers
- Negotiate supply agreements and facilitate the execution of contracts, including supply, allocation, and pricing
- Lead Contract Life Cycle Management from negotiation to expiration
- Monitor performance and partner with internal Quality, Product, and Operations teams to ensure compliance
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and senior management
Requirements
- Fluent written and verbal proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- BS or MS degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business development or account management in the battery materials, battery, or automotive industry
- Proven track record of closing direct sales and forming strategic alliances
- Ability to negotiate complex contractual agreements and financial models
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including to Asia and Europe
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD and/or MBA
- Automotive Industry experience (OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2)
- International experience supporting customers in China
- CRM experience
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP tools
