About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead overall business development and marketing efforts for select litigation practices, including White Collar Investigations & Defense.
- Oversee the preparation of pitches, RFPs, and client-facing materials, including leading strategy sessions and tracking outcomes.
- Spearhead the drafting and maintenance of practice-specific marketing materials and collateral.
- Support key client efforts to identify, develop, and grow high-value relationships.
- Collaborate with functional managers on visibility initiatives, speaking opportunities, and digital marketing.
- Plan and oversee seminars, events, and other targeted marketing activities.
- Manage a direct report and contribute to the development of early-tenure marketing team members.
- Monitor market intelligence to support strategic projects and individual pitch efforts.
Requirements
- University degree.
- 5-7 years of experience in professional services (legal experience preferred).
- 2+ years of team management experience.
- Proven experience with strategic business development planning and pitching.
- Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional professional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of litigation and regulatory practice areas.
- Experience interacting with firm leadership and lawyers at varying levels.
