Business Development Manager (FX)

Responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth for FX products across Malaysia and Southeast Asia
• Build and nurture strong relationships with institutional and corporate clients to understand their trading needs
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and acquisition targets
• Collaborate with internal trading, compliance, marketing, and technology teams to deliver client solutions
• Deliver professional presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients
• Monitor FX market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategy
• Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records and document client interactions

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within FX, banking, or fintech
• Strong understanding of FX products, trading platforms, and regional regulations
• Exceptional negotiation and client management skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting business targets
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional local languages is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred
