Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead disciplined commercial execution for the aromatic, catalyst, and licensing group in Bangalore
• Coordinate with Marketing, Law, S&OP, Customer Service, and Technology teams to drive business goals
• Deliver customer-focused solutions and value through catalyst and technology licensing products
• Act as a technical bridge between customers and Technical Support teams
• Monitor market insights and communicate key findings to stakeholders
• Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor work during PDP, FEED, and EPC phases
• Lead process optimization studies to identify capital and operating cost savings
• Manage the development of capital cost estimations and project development
• Lead new programs for engineering development and the commercialization of pilot plant technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree with a score of 70% or above
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager with a technology licensor
• Proven experience in value selling
• Working knowledge of Refinery or Chemical Process Engineering
• Exposure to catalyst performance and/or catalyst development
• Experience with contracting and familiarity with standard terms and conditions
