Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and research sectors
• Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across Taiwan
• Promote Eurofins Discovery services and solutions throughout the drug discovery and development value chain
• Develop and manage sales pipelines to consistently achieve individual sales targets
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and contract discussions with clients
• Collaborate closely with scientific and operational teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Maintain accurate sales activities and forecasts through CRM systems
• Represent Eurofins at industry events, conferences, and networking activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related discipline
• 3–8 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or scientific consulting
• Experience within CRO, CDMO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life science tools, or laboratory services preferred
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand scientific concepts and translate them into business opportunities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Fluent Mandarin and English
