About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in road freight, air freight, express, and last-mile delivery
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients through cold calls and personalized emails
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities
  • Maintain and prioritize an active list of new business prospects
  • Present company value propositions and recommend tailored product solutions to clients
  • Prepare financial and data analysis to report sales performance to the Head of Sales
  • Nurture long-term, trusting relationships with existing clients through regular communication

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and closing business deals
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of financial planning principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred
