About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in road freight, air freight, express, and last-mile delivery
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients through cold calls and personalized emails
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities
- Maintain and prioritize an active list of new business prospects
- Present company value propositions and recommend tailored product solutions to clients
- Prepare financial and data analysis to report sales performance to the Head of Sales
- Nurture long-term, trusting relationships with existing clients through regular communication
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and closing business deals
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of financial planning principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred
