About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and initiate contact with potential customers through relationship-based approaches, including sales calls and cold calling.
- Introduce company services to prospects and build long-term strategic relationships.
- Utilize consultative selling to demonstrate products and services that align with client objectives and needs.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for new and existing clients.
- Coordinate sales efforts internally with overseas offices, operations, customer service, and accounting departments.
- Analyze market potential to determine the value of existing and potential client accounts.
- Manage the resolution of customer complaints and monitor client accounts receivables to ensure timely payments.
- Achieve profitable business growth consistent with company goals and quality objectives.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Sales & Marketing experience specifically within the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to engage executives and decision-makers.
- Strong client-facing skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Fluency in English.
- Associates degree or higher.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
