About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive market growth and customer acquisition within an assigned region.
- Account for overall sales results by coordinating strategic sales activities with high business impact.
- Identify new clients and focus on retaining and growing revenue with existing customers.
- Lead contract negotiations and support customer strategies at a national level.
- Monitor operational KPIs and use sales pipeline reporting to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze market and technology trends to guide changes within the sales function.
- Maintain healthy trade and customer relationships through a consultative approach.
- Support both Sea Freight and Air Freight product and sales divisions.
Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- 8-10 years of logistics sales-related experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proven success in commercial roles with a goal-driven focus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
