About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the full business development cycle, from identifying new prospects to securing long-term client partnerships
  • Proactively identify and engage new clients through networking, referrals, and lead generation
  • Deliver consultative, solution-based sales presentations that demonstrate value and address client travel challenges
  • Negotiate effectively and guide prospects through the decision-making process to close new business
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new clients to their travel teams
  • Maintain strong commercial discipline by managing CRM data, follow-ups, and meeting sales targets and KPIs

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a Business Development Manager role focused on B2B sales
  • Proven ability to succeed in a consultative or solution-selling environment
  • Target-driven mindset with a track record of achieving KPIs and sales goals
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including confidence in client demonstrations
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and manage a sales pipeline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with self-generated lead generation and active networking
  • Experience managing the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting to final close
  • A preference for building long-term strategic partnerships over transactional sales
