Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute commercial and go-to-market strategies within the production value stream for Corning Life Sciences.
• Drive sales for the Bioprocessing business by developing regional strategies for product lines, target accounts, and molecules.
• Partner with field selling teams and business operations to identify key decision-makers and present compelling business proposals.
• Coach commercial teams on selling cycles, market needs, and prospecting to meet and exceed commercial goals.
• Monitor and drive a flawless customer experience by working cross-functionally with finance, quality, operations, and supply chain.
• Manage pipeline development, opportunity tracking, and provide intelligence on market conditions and competitive trends.
• Travel more than 50% of the time to engage with customers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biological science, pharma, or business domain.
• 8+ years of significant commercial experience in the life sciences, bioproduction, or biotechnology sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of R&D and production processes within the biopharmaceutical and biotech industries.
• Proven track record in strategic account management and solution selling.
• Demonstrated experience driving business development in global regions.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence senior-level executives.
