About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic business development growth by driving new client acquisition and managing existing relationships
- Partner with Directors and Practice Leaders to implement initiatives supporting revenue growth and client retention
- Execute business development strategies aligned with priority sectors and practice areas
- Oversee the end-to-end business development lifecycle from lead identification to client engagement
- Manage the Business Development budget and ensure effective resource allocation
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development team to foster a high-performance culture
- Drive the adoption and optimization of CRM software and business development technologies
- Collaborate with Marketing to enhance market profile through thought leadership and industry events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Commerce, Law, or Communications
- 5-8 years of experience in law firm business development and marketing
- Strong proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Proven project management and leadership skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management
