About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in strategic accounts, focusing on chemical specialties and innovations.
  • Create personalized value propositions and consultative pitches to address specific customer value drivers.
  • Manage the full technical sales cycle, including lead generation, sampling, quoting, and coordinating product approvals.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline within the CRM to ensure visibility of the opportunity funnel.
  • Build strong relationships with customers' technical teams to identify latent needs and accelerate product adoption.
  • Execute formal handovers to Account Managers following the first successful sale to ensure long-term continuity.
  • Provide technical training and commercial support to distributors as required.
  • Feed market trends and segment potential back to regional and global innovation and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in new business development within industrial markets and chemical specialties.
  • Proven experience in the Coatings or Industrial Applications sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technical-commercial sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in value-based selling and pricing methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced conversational English skills and ability to work in multicultural environments.
