About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in strategic accounts, focusing on chemical specialties and innovations.
- Create personalized value propositions and consultative pitches to address specific customer value drivers.
- Manage the full technical sales cycle, including lead generation, sampling, quoting, and coordinating product approvals.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline within the CRM to ensure visibility of the opportunity funnel.
- Build strong relationships with customers' technical teams to identify latent needs and accelerate product adoption.
- Execute formal handovers to Account Managers following the first successful sale to ensure long-term continuity.
- Provide technical training and commercial support to distributors as required.
- Feed market trends and segment potential back to regional and global innovation and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in new business development within industrial markets and chemical specialties.
- Proven experience in the Coatings or Industrial Applications sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technical-commercial sales cycles.
- Proficiency in value-based selling and pricing methodologies.
- Advanced skills in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced conversational English skills and ability to work in multicultural environments.
