About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with top major accounts, including multinational and corporate customers, through regular client visits.
  • Maintain, retain, and develop existing key accounts to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales Management teams to develop core trade lanes and vertical markets.
  • Report all sales activities daily using Salesforce.
  • Manage the RFQ and tender process in coordination with local and global tender teams to ensure successful conversion.
  • Ensure all quotations are sent within agreed timeframes and follow up diligently to secure business.
  • Establish proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all managed business in conjunction with Sales Support and Operations.
  • Achieve established KPIs and ensure all outstanding payments are settled according to agreed credit terms.
  • Generate and validate sales leads through internal branches and system partners.

Requirements

  • 3–15 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record in selling both Import and Export Air and Sea Freight cargo.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills with a focus on captive business and personal accounts.
  • Deep market knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and Logistics sector.
  • Degree in Logistics, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications and CRM tools.
