About the role

Responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and close strategic, revenue-generating partnerships across the agricultural supply chain including growers, processors, and distributors
  • Build and own durable relationships with commercial partners as the primary point of contact
  • Drive deals end to end, from structuring terms to scaling execution
  • Conduct market sizing and pricing analysis to inform priority markets and commercial decisions
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and business cases for entry into new expansion regions
  • Coordinate launch readiness by aligning supply availability with partner enablement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or sales within the agricultural industry
  • Proven track record of personally closing strategic partnerships across multiple geographies
  • Strong understanding of crop production systems, grower decision-making, and value chain economics
  • Ability to translate complex agronomic or technical attributes into commercial value propositions
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and regulatory teams
  • Willingness to travel frequently to engage directly with growers and partners
