Business Development Lead

About the Company

Navi captures everything a pilot sees and hears and turns it into automated debrief intelligence. The platform is live at flight schools, business jet operators, and the U.S. Air Force.

Responsibilities

• Own the full business development cycle from first contact to signed deal to live deployment
• Build and manage a pipeline of aviation customers including airlines, private jet operators, and flight training centers
• Run pitches and product demos for operators, training directors, and aviation executives
• Negotiate and close commercial agreements
• Represent Navi in person at customer sites and industry events
• Hire and build the business development team as the company scales

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and operating production infrastructure
• Experience dealing with user data and processing at scale
• Deep, hands-on AWS experience
• Experience building observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response from scratch
• Experience shipping automatic failover and fallback mechanisms
• Ability to treat cost as an engineering metric and reduce cloud spend
• Strong general backend skills
• Proficiency in writing documentation and runbooks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience carrying infrastructure from seed stage through Series C
• Familiarity with aviation systems, avionics data formats, or defense technology environments
