Business Development

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new business opportunities with biotech and pharma through market research and networking
• Lead outbound BD efforts including prospecting, relationship building, and pipeline management
• Support deal execution including term sheets, negotiations, diligence, and closing
• Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to translate platform capabilities into partner value
• Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform BD strategy
• Prepare documents and presentations for senior management to drive decision-making
• Travel to industry, scientific, or business-oriented events

Requirements

• Masters in science (PhD preferred) with background in biologics, genetic medicines, or deep learning for drug development
• 3 years of experience in business development in pharma, biotech, or VC
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Track record of partnering with internal technical stakeholders
• Deep understanding of drug discovery, development, and commercialization processes
• Fluency with business analytics and deal valuation methodologies
• Outstanding oral and written communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work across different time zones
