Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Recruit new agent locations and manage existing agent relationships within an assigned territory to maximize revenue.
• Generate leads, evaluate business positions, and convert prospects into new business signings.
• Support the new agent application process and provide necessary training on company products and systems.
• Provide ongoing support through regular agency visits and maintain constant communication to satisfy agent needs.
• Monitor competitor rates and provide feedback to the company regarding market trends, concerns, or suggestions.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Compliance, Accounts Receivable, and Products.
• Assist with collections from non-paying agents within the assigned territory.
• Travel up to 80% of the time to support territory needs.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• 2-3 years of experience in outside sales.
• Proven negotiation, sales closing, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
