Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Recruit new agent locations and provide ongoing service to existing agents within an assigned territory
• Generate leads, call on prospects, and convert opportunities into new business signings
• Support the new agent application process and follow up on submitted applications
• Activate, install, and provide technical training to agents on company products and systems
• Conduct regular agency visits to provide support, maintenance, and equipment replacement
• Monitor competitor rates and provide market feedback to the company
• Counsel agents on how products and services can satisfy their specific business needs
• Collaborate with internal departments including Compliance, Accounts Receivable, and Products
• Travel up to 80% of the time to manage territory requirements

Requirements

• Proven negotiation, sales closing, and relationship management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities
• Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to work as a self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• 2-3 years of outside sales experience within the industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
