Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Recruit new agent locations and provide ongoing service to existing agents within the Virginia territory
• Generate leads, evaluate business positions, and convert prospects into new business signings
• Maximize revenue for the full line of Viamericas services and promote sales growth for established locations
• Support the new agent application process and provide necessary product training and system installation
• Maintain constant communication with agents to satisfy needs and provide feedback to the company regarding market trends and competitor activity
• Monitor competitor rates and assist the Compliance department with agent training
• Travel up to 80% of the time to conduct agency visits and maintain service quality

Requirements

• Proven negotiation, sales closing, and relationship management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities
• Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to work as a self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 2-3 years of experience in outside sales within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
